About Us

The Connecting Center

Innaippakam – the Tamil word for “The Connecting Center”—was conceived in Silicon Valley, California with a singular, driving focus: transforming livelihoods in the war-affected North-East region of Sri Lanka through the strategic mobilization of global resources. Founded by a dedicated group of North American professionals and formally launched in January 2026, the organization serves as a strategic bridge between the global Tamil diaspora and local communities.

Innaippakam intends to mobilize diaspora expertise and capital to seed sustainable, community-owned initiatives, helping the North-East transition from a state of high dependency to one of lasting self-sufficiency with a thriving economy. Our goal is to move beyond the cycle of temporary handouts, investing instead in the architecture of a new economy that empowers our communities toward economic dignity and lasting resilience.

By focusing on building micro-factories, creating high-income employment, and preparing the next generation of highly skilled workforce, we envision the economic empowerment of our communities through global coordination.

Blending the spirit of venture capitalism with the heart of a charity, Innaippakam is creating an empowering economic ecosystem. Our collective potential is limitless, but only with your active participation! Together – as donors, investors, donor-investors, and experts – we are not just building livelihoods; we are reclaiming our future!!

Our Approach

Rather than focusing solely on short-term relief efforts, Innaippakam prioritizes initiatives that help communities build long-term economic resilience.
